We celebrated our one-year anniversary in amazing Cappadocia, a place of underground cities and churches, 'fairy chimneys', and rock formations that developed over time from volcanic ash, layers of tuff and basalt, and erosion.
These rock formations are some of the most famous in the region... on the left is Mother with Child (note the small ledge of rock held by the larger one) with Father on the right, and way in the back, Grandfather. In Turkish they are called Anne, Cocuk, ve Baba. It seemed appropriate to take a picture in next to them.

looks like so much fun......those rocks are amazing. congrats on all the happenings.
I see that you can still tie a shirt around your waist! enjoy that while you can. Soon you will be wishing for suspenders, like I am right now!
